A Poem for A Spirit

Spirit, I care about you
you know I do, and
I’m sorry that people just
don’t understand us
People say and think it's weird and
When I tell anyone about us
Instead of telling the truth,
I tell them I’m thinking out loud
or I’m talking to myself
I’m sorry those boys made you want pay back
I’m sorry I made you feel like you were the reason
I was being teased
Especially since only I can see and hear you
I love you Spirit!, you know that!
