living within myself

I am living within myself,
and no one notices.
I am screaming out hoping someone will notice,
but other me eats up my cries before they can reach the surface.
So, other me screams out through the written word.
But other me covers it up with a smile and a measly "I'm fine, I promise."
"Why wont you let me get help?" I scream.
"Why wont you" other me responds.

I feel in constant battle with myself. I want people to know the real me but i cover myself up with a different person entirely. I am holding myself back.
