An Ode to Gay Culture
cheers to gay culture!
i mean it's great right?
like isn’t it all we do is say how proud we are to be gay?
oh but that's not the truth.
that’s not the real gay culture.
so let me explain it to you.
gay culture is toxic.
toxic like the chemicals that are in the cleaning supplies under the sink.
toxic in how teen boys sacrifice love and connection for meaningless hookups.
so while all their straight friends go to prom with dates,
they are hooking up with some random guy they just met in some disgusting bathroom.
a bathroom so disgusting it even hates itself.
or if they want to find love they turn to the internet.
long distance is as common as the sun rising everyday.
but as that fails they have other means of communicating.
means that involves talking to older men on the internet.
grown men who want to hurt them.
but yet this is normal?
so normal that there are dating sites and chat rooms just for this.
toxic in how teen boys hookup with adult men who have wives and families.
underage boys who can’t even drive yet.
how teen boys starve themselves to look like a skeleton to please others.
watching adult media trying to replicate themselves as the actors they see.
thinking that this is what they have to look like in order to find love.
failing to reconize the spell of gay culture that has been bastoied upon them.
toxic in how your friends aren’t really your friends for the right reasons.
you can’t have friendships with other gay teens because it always becomes sexual.
you yearn for someone to relate to.
but you can’t.
you never touch on those conversations because all you talk about is sex.
like the simple “t or b?” question.
or “send me some pics?”
soon teen boys think that this is normal.
immune to this kind of toxin.
they think selling their bodies is how to attract love.
love that they lack for themselves.
the love that a broken doll receives.
gay culture is toxic.
it causes young boys to grow up too fast.
it teaches them unrealistic ideas of love.
it causes them to change themselves for irrational beliefs that they are not enough.
it puts them in the hands of danger.
but yet again,
isn’t it great to be gay?
