Favorite Quote:
“So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.”
― John Green, Looking for Alaska

As he walked into the room

My eyes look towards him

Instantly

Blush spreading across

My pale face

Why am I acting like this?

He showed all the signs

Everyone said

“He definitely likes you back”

And I believed it

Just for

A second

I got my hopes up

Once again

I confronted you

By your locker

That one Tuesday

After school

I told you all my feelings

And you gave me

The sweetest grin

The next day you acted

As if I didn’t

Exist

A month past

It felt like forever

You hadn’t given me an answer

To the question

That my heart

Had been yearning for

I confronted you

Once again

You said no

In that moment

I felt like

A million bricks

Had been dropped

On my heart

You said no

Well now here I am

Writing a stupid poem

About how much

I like this

Stupid boy

Who doesn’t even

Like me

Back
