Last night while I was Laying down
Some howcomes sort of got me mad
Howcome there are people living on the streets?
Howcome kids are getting shot?
Howcome kids aren't coming home to their families?
Howcome we don't see how much pain people are in?
Howcome teens are already doing drugs?
Howcome kids are getting raped?
Howcome people are bullying kids to the point of suicide?
IT MATTERS. WHAT YOU SAY MATTERS
Howcome the whole world can’t see this?
Howcome people don't notice someone's pain until it's too late?
Howcome the world is full of nasty things?
And as I was falling asleep
The howcomes really made me think,
It truly is a cruel world we live in.
