Sometimes
Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning
In my own thought and imagination
Their tangly arms drag me down into the depths
Of my own desires
Where I see nothing but my lonely self
Looking at me
Sometimes I wish I had some company
Like a twin brother
Or a sister
Sometimes I wish that the things I wish for could come true
And they sometimes do
But others don’t
Sometimes I wish
That I could stop wishing
