While clouds cried
All in a field of tulips
Sky eyes
Gave salty rain
Watering the field of tulips
Soaked clothes
Dry heart
Left behind in a field of tulips
Homebound,
Walking away
From the field of tulips
The heavens break
As sun peaks
Forgetting about a field of tulips
A positive test.
New love
And hearts full
Echoing laughter
And bright twinkle.
Memories to replace old
Years past
As time moves,
Still remains
The field of tulips
Tiny hands consume
Eyes amazed
As you watch her fall,
Fall in love with your field of tulips
