Humans are great
Don't get me wrong
But lets set something straight
We're not the only ones
At a dead end
I've been all alone
Except for my furry friend
Always happy when I get home
We might not see it
That just means we don't pay attention
Our little friends see our fit
They try and help it, not to mention
Sadly, in our world
Most dogs are better listeners than people
And it's so absurd
How much we forget the real goal
Being rude and mean
Is a dead end
You might know these people
But bet you it's not your furry friend
