Gray
Gray, the mixture of deep black secrets and the Innocence of an angel
My wings flutter around screaming purity yet locality I lost is a stab in my heart
Gemstones, Jewels, and precious metals I adorne
The pride of richness is my biggest honor
Tho, those who surround eye my pride as if my purity is a lost of it’s own
My pride may be materialistic by my heart isn’t
So, was material more important than my valuable heart?
Mockery is often the subject, Knifes are protected, material is the value of my heart, and life is deemed worthless
Twirling the shape bladed knife, I graze it over my nerves ever so slightly
Now I ponder was being born with riches really wroth the hassle
The near reflection of my shadow fills me with guilt
As I slowly pierce my skin, blood gushes out and my nerves turn gray
Gray, the mixture of deep black secrets and the innocence of an angel but the outcome of a tainted purity

As we mature like aged wine, the purity of innocence in ourselves becomes tainted, wine tastes the best when aged but humans lose their innocence as we age. The world is full of many secrets that slowly blacken our heart but the color of grey still remains in our vienes.
