Circle of time

Out of all the shapes
Why make a clock a circle
Why make it repeat the same numbers
Why make it repeat the same hours twice
Why make it repeat the same minutes 24 times
It just shows
How every day is the same
How fast or slow it goes
How it is just a cycle
That will never break
So why make a clock a circle
Maybe just to tell us
How we will never learn
How everything will just repeat
That is why
The clock has to be a circle
To make us try and remember
Even though half the time we forget
So we never learn from our mistakes
So just like a clock it repeats in the same cycle
