Maybe if you did something
I would be in a better place
Maybe if you realized what I wanted
I would be in a better place
Maybe if you got me help
I would be in a better place
There is so many maybe if’s
Because you never did anything for me
You let me sit and suffer with my thoughts
And you knew something was wrong
But still you never did anything
You just watched as I destroyed myself

Hi my name is Kayla and I am 15 years old. I always loved poetry and loved writing it. This poem goes out to all the people going through a hard time right now and going through it alone. I just want to let all of you know that you are never alone and there is always a person who will understand you, you just have to find them or maybe you already know them and just don’t know it yet.
