I want to cry my eyes out in front of you,

Sit on the same stairs waiting for you,

I want to see you for the very last time,

Sit on your lap and hear that rhyme,

I want to tell you how lonely I am ,

There's no one I can talk to ; how pitiful I am !

I want you to sit and tell me stories again,

Make up silly little things and forget how you began,

I want you to look at how people have made me cry ,

Each time I think about you I can't help but cry,

I want you to always stay alive in my heart,

Stay and look after the dying tree in my heart,

I want you to bless our family and me,

I Know you must have, I can feel you smiling at me !

This poem is a representation of the struggle we all go through after losing our grandparents. We can always pretend that we're okay but deep down inside we all want them back. We miss them and we feel incomplete without them.

this poem made me cry as I read it...because I lost my grandad on 21 of October 2020 and I miss him so much, I kinda like the way you've written and expressed your feelings...

Just reading this makes me tear up. I didn't lose my grandad but on the night of May 19, 2020, my grandma died. She beat cancer 2 times before she got diagnosed with her third one. She was a strong woman and she always made the best version of me who I am to this day. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that your grandfather is smiling down on you and your family, and he is so proud of the writer you have become and will soon be. I like to think of the song by Gary Alan "Every Storm Runs out of Rain" Stay strong and hard times only make us stronger.♥

Yeah, I totally agree with you...I lost my Grandad during the night of the 21st of October, 2020 and I could not even go to his funeral due to an unavoidable circumstance, and I can never get that sorrow out of me...The demise of our Grandad is one pain and not being able to attend his funeral, is the biggest pain out of it...I still feel really sad and broken when I'm reminded of him...He would be the happiest person in the world to see me in the way I am today...May the Almighty forgive all his sins and grant him heaven...😢🥺😢

By the way, your poem was really beautiful and relatable and as always, you've written it wonderfully with much dedication and it would be so unfair if we did not comment on how great it is...Keep writing...✍🏻✍🏻✍🏻
