"Love and Hate are two sides of the same coin."

Oh I sit in a chair

Scratching my brow

Wondering how

This will all work out

Mimic a call I’ve called once before

Are your ears clogged

Or do you not know?

Oh the pain and hate

Of the words we display

Causes some to fall

In an unnecessary place

Oh how far must we go

Until we all know

The importance of one’s presence

The importance of being heard?

Only some understand

Only some read between the words

Oh how abundant

Oh how peachy

Oh how odd

To those whom thought nothing of it at all

But suddenly they do

Suddenly they do

The author's comments:

I wrote this piece after I had attemted suicide. I was in an unhealthy place, and after it happened it felt like people suddenly seemed to care.

Thank you! I'm actually in a much better place, and I figured putting this out might have some people relate and to anyone whos looking in comments, if you've ever felt this way you actually really are never alone. There is always someone there for you, you just have to let them in :)

This poem is really powerful that It gave me goosebumps...
I love the anaphora in the last stanza...★★★

Anyway, the important matter, whatever happens in your life, do not commit suicide because the chance of a human birth is 1 in 400 trillion and you are a lucky person to get the chance. And the chance of you being alive right now is 1 in 102,685,000. So, whenever you feel such a thought, remember this, and NEVER let those emotions make you give out the lucky charm you got...And if you need help with anything, we're always there...
