Oh girl what made you so blue
You are not the girl that I once knew
The one that had that smile
The one that always looked so wild
What happened to your blithe
That is the part of you I miss
What happened to your light
I know that you put up a good fight

My name is Kayla I am 15 years old and currently a freshman in high school. I have always loved poetry and have been writing it for almost a year now. I wrote this poem about a girl who was once very happy and got herself into a toxic relationship and it had a huge toll on her life
