The fear fills your heart as you walk toward the unbearable news.
The tears you feel fall down your cold face.
The ache in your soul telling you they don’t have time.
The feel of their cold hands.
The smell of sickness.
The sight of the overwhelming.
The moment of acknowledgment.
The moment of saying goodbye to what was rusted gold.
The pain of the world's loss.
The emptiness without one.
The acceptance of their release.
The moment of wonder.
The moment of anger.
The moment of change.
The moments that all come to who you now are.
