I’m beaten,
I’m bruised,
But I have something,
You may not.
I have faith,
I have hope,
I believe,
There is a reason,
To all the pain.
I will soar,
I will make it,
With God,
And a friend,
I now have strength,
To rise up again.

Yep. I hope one day I will have enough strength to see that.
Yeah, I know I get irritated when people tell me that "everything happens for a reason," but even if I have to cling the vague hope of some mysterious cosmic meaning, that's still hope. Sometimes, thinking "everything happens for a reason" helps and sometimes it doesn't.
This is me trying to find the light in the dark so basically, another happy poem to delay the sad. Please comment!
