Life itself is a lie,
The sun will set,
The moon will rise,
Even stars must die.
Grim are the facts,
So we must lie,
Even if we love,
We only cry.
When we weep,
The devil sings,
When we die,
The bells will ring.
So i wonder,
Why do we try,
When we know,
Even stars must die?
Life is a song,
To which all songs end,
The beats must fail,
Why do we pretend?
We pretend to live,
When we are a shell,
To the Gods we pray,
But they can't hear us in hell.
So once more i ask,
Why do we try,
When we all know,
Even Stars must die.
