"smile, my boy! it's sunrise!"

I hate waking to see morning sunlight stream out of my window

because there, during the last new-bright-morning era,

We were spring, summer, and autumn

But we bloomed in the springtime.

Seeing my happy mourning morning sunlight makes me believe I should also be dancing.

@SparrowSun it's all metaphors and a play on words. i use "happy mourning morning sunlight" in a way that both describes the general feeling of sunlight (happy) and my feeling toward it at the time (negative). i resonate morning sunlight streaming out of a window as well as seasons with something specific.

"It Will Be Good." (complicated semi-spiritual emotional story.)

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]

i think this is one poem that needs explination...
