Eclipse
In every lunar cycle, the moon appears dark.
It adjusts what is visible to the world from
A full moon,
to half,to absolutely nothing.
Throughout this,
We know the moon is whole,
Just blocked by darkness during it’s phases
But the sad thing is,
when the moon is hidden by darkness,
nobody cares about it.
People only notice a full moon
because that’s when it’s most beautiful.
And it’s guaranteed that the moon will make itself visible again
And brighter than before,
only then is it admitted.
People only care when i’m perfect
And wallow in my beauty.
But when I half ass my life
Nobody is phased,
Because they assume i’ll be whole again
And all better
Just like the moon.
But i'm not the moon
And my existence tomorrow
Is not guaranteed.
