It was supposed to be eternal.
A universe full of beauty and light.
It only took an instant,
Disappearing,
fading from sight.

I remember it for what it was,
and all it could have been.
The elegance,
the hope.
A world full of life.

Forever gone,
but never forgotten.
A universe lost.
Left fragmented,
left me in a daze.
Leaving me numb.

I see it when I’m dreaming
It all its beauty and light.
It was meant to be eternal.
I wish that was right.

The universe must be a teenage girl. So much darkness, so many stars.
