If your heart is breaking,

If your soul is aching,

Just remember there's a,

Promsie for ones who hold on.

If you are losing this game,

If you feel you're dying,

Lift up your eyes to the rising sun.

The future is left burning,

Your hopes are now turning,

But the night lasts not long.

Help is on the way,

You're going to make it.

If you are breaking,

There will always be a,

Promise for ones who hold on.

The author's comments:

This poem talks about the time in life which many experience when you are knocked down and left without purpose because what you wanted to do is now out of reach but you must be strong because even if you feel you've lost your purpose there is always a plan in place for your future and you just don't know what it is yet.
