The Fire in my Soul

There is a fire in my soul
It is burning bright
You can see it in my eyes
It ignites my senses
Consumes me
I cry out
Wanting to relieve myself of the pain of passion pounding in my chest
Wanting desperately to be released
I keep pushing it down
Deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper
Until I have pushed it down so far that the fire is extinguished and then I will long for the pain
Of the fire in my soul
