You kept on saying it is for my own benefit,

Don't you wanna fit in?

Change who you are,

do what I say

I am older with more experience,

I hate the stupid me,

Who would follow you around,

You made me feel worthless,

Well, guess what!

I found one,

who tells me I am special every single day

One who  loves me for who I am,

One who would give up everything to see me smile

Turns out that some things end so that better ones can come

I learnt to let go no matter how hard it may seem

I love my self just the way I am

Sometimes holding on hurts more than letting go

I am now free

I am now loved

No matter how many times you beg

I am not going back to that toxic relationship
