I am
I am
I am a lover of both
But I feel no comfort
I am left with scars from battling myself
And bruises that cause fear
I am a saint and
I am a sinner
I am a part of 97%
But they left me with nothing
I am the loudest thunder
But also voiceless griever
I am the beat that carries the song
I am the moon up high and alone
I am a constant alarm on your phone
I am the broken mirror
I am the giver
I wrote this piece to draw attention to 97% of women who have been a victim of sexual harassment or a victim of rape by men.
