The Orange Tree
There sits a man underneath the orange tree each day. Atop a hill of tall grass and ladybugs. He awaits the return of his daughter. He waits to share an orange with her in cheers to the sunset, one last time. It doesn't bother him that she is late this time, it wouldnt be the first. So he keeps waiting for her to show, late into the night. For even after years, he still believes she might.
