Untitled
count my sins, darling.
between my collarbones,
on my neck, down my arms.
your breath hot on my cheek,
your voice raspy in my ear.
you taste like adventure and sweat,
and i can’t see you but i feel you,
your heartbeat strong against mine,
your shorn fingernails against my skin,
the blood pulsing, warm,
reminding us that,
at least for now,
we’re alive.
