The Ocean
A warm ocean breeze that drifts through the air
The sound of the waves crashing against the shore,
The soft sand beneath my feet
And the warmth from the sun against my skin.
Along the sand are chairs and towels spread far apart
Behind them are houses surrounded by large trees and bushes.
Palm trees flowing with the ocean breeze
As the waves continue crashing against the shore,
Laughter surrounds the air as families enjoy the day
As joyful children as happy as the sun laugh and play.

This poem is about the time I went to the beach with my family for the first time a few years ago and the scenery that was around me.
