Do you like what you see?
Stop.
Do you like what you see?
Thighs without a gap,
A nose that’s quite mishap.
A jawline that could use a milliliter,
And hair that could be much neater.
Stop.
Do you like what you see?
A dancer’s physique,
Eyes that demand a second peek.
Cheekbones made of marble.
Boy, do they stop to marvel.
Stop.
Do you like what you see?
Face caked in liquid,
Eyebrows that are painted,
Eyelashes glued.
Missing food...
Stop.
Do you like what you see?
Counting calories,
Analyzing maladies,
Judging others by a set of fatalities
Subjecting them to your abnormalities.
Stop.
Do you like what you see?
Losing weight
Always up late.
Tomorrow, just wait.
Tomorrow, you state.
Stop.
Do you like what you see?
Not an unburdened thought,
A self worth that can be bought,
Goals that can only be sought,
A mood perpetually distraught.
Please.
When will you accept what you see?
