She told me to give up.
To walk away
But he needed help
And I had help to give
So I took
My most patient voice
And explained to him
How to do his homework
So I don’t think
It’s fair
To stop helping a person
Because they are
Distracted.

My brother has trouble with his homework sometimes and I was trying to help him with it once. He was really distracted though and I was told that I didn't have to help him if I didn't want to. I didn't really think that was fair to not help him just because he was distracted.
