I remember the day

My whole world was set ablaze

I thought I had lost it all

I had indeed lost my way,

 

I got a second chance

I was shown where to find

Happiness and Joy

For all time

 

Remember the day?

That chilly, fall day?

After I met you

I knew I'll never be the same

 

But years of being alone

has taken their toll

and I pushed you away

 

But I'll always hope

I'll fight the whole way

I cannot give up on you

Because the day I met you

 

I gave my heart away

I wrote this for the girl that stole my heart at first glance, and the same that i pushed away out of fear of being hurt again.
