Fading
Mindless games and tearing eyes
Foggy memories fill her head
New thoughts penetrate her skull like a drill
Straining trying to remember
Crashing hard to the ground
Fields of dead roses engulfed her
Drowned by murky waters
Choking on toxic air
Changing and changing
Faster and faster
Her head spins like a top
Colors, lights, words like a carnival ride
Her hair falls softly over her head
Sprawled across the sharp sand
Piercing her soft flesh
Waves crash over her and everything fades to black

I feel that this piece speeks to people who have been knocked down. Being bullied can mean a lot to someone and can effect the way they look at others and themselves. I feel that its importaint for adolecents to see this so they know the effect others have on people.
