Trapped here
I'm waiting, just sitting
in the corner, all alone
I can't escape, I'm trapped
There is no way out
The walls of my emotions
Twice as hard as stone
Has kept me inside, trapped me.
The roof is leaking rain
As it pounds upon the shingles
Created by my tears, the rain will never stop
The place I'm trapped in will never go away
They say I can control it, break out of it somehow
But I just know that it's impossible, to find a way out.
And then you came along, so confident, so strong
You helped me face all my fears
And helped me dry all my tears
I should've known you'd save me,
Find a way to get me out
Of this place where I have locked myself out
From the world full of doubt
That I have created
for myself
