YOU ARE MORE
You are more than the mean glances
More than the awful looks
More than the words that are stabbing in your back
More than the nasty comments
More than the people who are bullying you
More than anyone could ever know
You are you, you are the reason someone is still living
You are the light of somebody’s life
You are the reason somebody laughed or smiled today
You are the person somebody wants to be
You are the person who is making the world better
You are the person who is making a change
You are not the mean words that come out of their mouths
You are not what people think
You are not small
You are not perfect
You are not just your grades or some number on a sheet
You are not dumb, stupid, or mean
You are you, you are the person who won’t take the jabs
You are willing to stand up for yourself
You are the one who gets up when you are pushed down
You are the person who makes someones day
You are the person who carries on even in the biggest storm
You are a bigger person for moving on
So yes you are more than you know
More amazing, More beautiful
More caring, More loving
More capable, More ambitious
And most of all MORE YOU than anyone else.

I'm a junior in high school, and I thought people(and myself) needed to know that even in the worst moments that you are better than you think.
