Moms Always
Moms always
Kiss your injuries
And put on those coloful bandaids.
Moms always
Kiss you before bed
And tuck you in safe and sound.
Moms always
Take your temperature
And feed you soup and crackers when you’re sick.
Moms always
Smile at your artwork
And display them proudly on the fridge.
Wihtout moms,
Injuries would continue to bleed-
You would never get tucked in-
Sickness would be miserable- and artwork would be tossed
And forgotten.
Without moms,
Life would be dark.
Rainbows wouldn’t shine brightly
And happiness would hide behind dark clouds.
Moms are sunshine,
And it’s our job to soak in that light
And shine it on others
Who are without the light.
Always-
Moms.
