Pain
Pain, like a stab
Oh, what is pin?
A needle jab,
Or a year without rain?
Pain is the feeling
That you are lone
Alone with no friends
Alone with no home
Pain is when you fall
Off a swing and break your arm
Just when you thought
You couldn’t be harmed
Pain is a bully
who calls me a freak
And steps on my foot
Every day for a week
Pain is the names
That my brother will shout
The names that make me wish
That he didn’t have a mouth
Pain is the time
when I didn't have friends
This pain is an injury
That band-aids won’t mend

This poem is about the experiences I had in 5th grade (minus the arm-breaking part). I put a lot of my heart and soul into this piece, and I hope you will all like it!!
