I fall to my knees
as your words cut deep into my soul.
Tears roll down my cheeks,
and everything comes to an end.
I thought we’d be together forever,
and you’d be mine 'til the end of time.
My love for you has started a fire.
You're all my heart desires.
But I understand that you need to go,
so I'll set you free from your cage,
and say my final goodbye.
Use your beautiful wings and fly,
fly, fly away.
