Favorite Quote:
"If a plant cannot live according to its nature, it dies; and so a man" (Henry David Thoreau, Civil Disobedience and Other Essays)

Seafaring dew beneath her eye

Chiffon soul, hardly getting by

A girl on the tongue,

but a Woman on mine,

And such she'll become

All in Due Time

The author's comments:

I'm a really big believer in women's rights and the feminist movement, so I thought it only necessary to write a poem about it. However, this poem is mostly about the perception of a female as a "woman" as opposed to a "girl."
