In the mirror and see a different person every single day
Some days beauty burns within my eyes
Glows on my cheeks
The next, its ripped away from me
A cold stanger glaring back
An image I wouldn’t want to see
Slight imperfections everywhere
Never good enough
Until it is
Me

Many teens struggle with confidence and self-esteem issues, including myself. I wrote this to highlight the struggle and show some of the thoughts that go through our heads because we don't like the way we look, or we simply just aren't good enough for society's standards.
