Ballet Rehearsal

My muscles ache
My palms shake
My ankles about to give out
My breath quickens
My frustration thickens
I am tired without a doubt
But ballet is what I live for
And why I go on stage
To show the world what I worked so hard on
the magic will never age
Ballet is difficult
But beautiful with every bend
From swan lake to the nutcracker
They will have a happy end
