the cars pass and pass and pass
while i am still me still waiting
it's a constant thing, this procession of cars
endless cars passing through
indifferently
while i am still here still waiting
all my life i have come here to cry
all my life the cars continue to pass by
while i sit here feeling small
with a broken heart and a weeping soul
