A Point In Life
There is a point in life when the world shatters you.
The people. The pleasing. The pressure. It all becomes too much.
You wonder why nothing you do is good enough.
Find a solution. Make them happy. Or face your undeserved condemnation.
There is a point in life when there is no solution.
All that’s left is neglected apologies. Uncontrollable tears. And a lost sense of value.
You constantly remind yourself, “it’s not your fault.”
But it’s no use.
There is a point in life when you reach full despair.
The only way to get out is finding someone of true compassion.
Reminding you that you are not to blame. You are not worthless. But instead you are precious.
They speak truth into your life to start the first building block towards healing.
There is a point in life when you learn that all you can do is listen.
Time is the answer you’ve been looking for.
No more words. No more self-doubt. Just letting the betrayal whisk away.
By learning how to be slow to speak, you find peace in your spirit.
There is a point in life when peace gives you the hope to keep going.
Each day brings new air in your lungs and you can’t waste it.
Step back. Take a breath. And observe the stunning world around you.
You mean so much more than you know.

I wanted to write about something that everyone can relate to. The world and people expect so much of us and we are constantly being beaten down by the expectations. However, there is always someone in our life who will be there to pick us back up.
