Always There
The constant cycle of waking, working, wishing for something more
Endlessly waiting for something, anything to disrupt the system
The monotony of endlessly continuing, and to what gain?
Surely there must be an alternative, anything to change the flow.
There it is, the spot of sunlight in the darkness, the moment of calm in the midst of chaos.
That one person, stepping in at just the right moment
Giving a hug, sharing kind words, eliciting a smile
Suddenly, it’s not so isolating, not quite as repetitive.
The good is always there, sometimes shining and sometimes hiding behind a cloud, but always there.
