The abuse, barbarity, cruelty
Drugs, death, deception
Neglect, offense, poverty
So tell me,
What do I do?
I see the tears
Filling up eyes
Threating to overflow.
The kids who always sit by themselves
The thousands who take their lives
Every day
Right now.
So tell me,
What do I do?
I see the hope
We’re draining the ocean one drop at a time.
One smile, one hug
One act of forgiveness
It may be slow.
It may be painful.
But we’re making it through.
Making it through
