World of Words

I got lost in the world
Made only of words,
But real as everything around me.
I can find my way back
For it’s only a step away,
But am still lost,
Because I don't want to.
I go on adventures and explore,
Get tossed about by waves
That are nothing but ideas,
Lose my stress for a while,
Do impossible things,
Learn about real events,
And love every minute.
Eventually, I come up for air;
To face the real world,
Then go back in again;
Back to the world
Where nothing is real,
But everything is.
