Moving in

i never expected for it to happen
it was like a knife stabbed me right in the heart
i had to switch schools
my life was turned upside-down
i went home and packed up
i was in total shock and
didn’t know what to do or say
i thought i was going to die
but as i look back
it really wasn’t that bad after all
it happens to a lot of kids my age
living with your grandparents really wasn’t as bad as I made it out to be
