An epidemic that causes chaos among the citizens. Rain is that persistently piling up on a path, steadily increasing in size and engulfing all that stands in its way.

My mind is like the plague,

An infestation, slowly rising.. And surging in with a series of symptoms.

My mind is like the plague,

Distress, the continuation of angst anguishes against the mind again and again and again.

My mind is like the plague,

Awareness, frantically feeling the unease that flutters its way into my mind relentlessly when I only want to flee.

But alas my mind is like the plague,

A plague in which I cannot avoid, even if I tried.
