There's too many people in this world. We need a new plague.

Its like im in my own world

Alone in this brummare

If i were to scream for help

No one would be there

My words get swept up in air

And

       fall

              in

                   deafened

                                  ears

I smile as they pass by

But they turn away and sneer

Then some can’t even see me

They look right through

Where my full body is

Just not in view

My opinions rarely leave my mouth

For when they do

They never make it through

What is worse than all of this

That rocks me to my core

Is when they do speak to me

They say

“you should talk more”.

It’s for the quiet ones. The people who are too afraid to be heard, to have a voice. Everyone has a voice, everyone deserves to be heard. And this poem is the beginning of me being heard. We all have a voice, yet some are quieter than others. Don’t be afraid to be heard.

Let your smile change the world, but don't let the world change your smile!

Good job, Kylie!! This poem really speaks to me, with me being very quiet person. Keep up the great work!
