Misery is a mold

With each laceration

We are shaped

Into an abyss

Deeper is it forming

Until you feel hollow

And lost

Adrift amongst nothingness

Until you settle

Like a feather falling

Into flame

Scorching, writhing

Until there is nothing left

But ash

Scattered like dust

And suppressed
