I am from a family of 6
a magnificent man
a wondrous woman
From run down rooms
and sloppy siblings.
I am from work
sun yawning at 6
while i spread mulch
From agonized clothes
and smiling flowers.
I am from brothers like dogs
wild and aggressive
looking for trouble
From bleeding lips
and bruises as big as baseballs.
I am from video games
guns going bang
tires going skrrt
From “Fus Ro Dah”
shouted from dragonborn.
That's where i’m from.
