Alice In Wonderland
Trapped in an unknown world,
Everyone calling me “Alice”,
Who even is this “Alice”?
No one knows,
No one remembers,
All they say is, “You”.
The Cheshire Cat,
Who I thought was a friend,
Ditches me as if I am not here.
The White Rabbit,
Who seems to ignore me,
At least acknowledges my presence.
The Mad Hatter,
Who watches over me,
Seems to neglect my feelings.
The Queen of Hearts,
Who appears evil,
Tries to get rid of me, literally.
The more I walk,
The more confusing this place gets,
How did I end up here?
Everywhere I go,
No matter where I go,
I’m ignored and rejected.
Everyone seems so happy with me,
But they are also scared,
What’s wrong with me?
For what reason am I here?
Why was I meant to be?
Who IS this “Alice”?
What wronging has she done?
Even more,
Who...am I?

This piece was inspried by myself. I often find myself being a different me everyday(not really). This poem was written on confusion of my own identity. I hope you enjoy!~
